Subnautica Xbox One

Short Version:

Very high chance of release between 2nd & 6th of January.

Proper Version:

Hi everyone! We’ve been working to release the Bones Update Xbox for quite some time now. Charlie recently posted this explanation on the forums:

“Getting the XB1 version of Subnautica running as well as the PC version has been a HUGE amount of work. We vastly underestimated it. Max and Jonas have been working on it pretty much full-time for months and there’s still a lot to do. Jonas just did finished a big rewrite of a system that, although it won’t improve performance much right now, was necessary in order for us to make more improvements later.

We now have a ‘build’ (A …

Where did my water filtration machine go?

Posted by acedude 8 years ago

We got wrecked, and a giant piece of explorable Aurora wreckage is now available in Subnautica Early Access. At the same time, you may have noticed that you have lost the ability to build water filtration machines. A bug? A nefarious plot by Unknown Worlds to cause you all to run out of water?

Water filtration machine blueprints now require a fragment found inside the new …

Subnautica

Last week, Subnautica was released on Steam Early Access. Since then, over 11,000 games of Subnautica have been played. That’s crazy! Subnautica’s development was already pretty open before December 16th, but now the flood gates have opened.

We’re absolutely swimming in ideas and feedback. Treading water is boring, so naturally we’ve been diving into all sorts of stuff in the days since release, and a new development build is available on Steam. If you have Subnautica in your Steam library (get it here), you will receive the update automatically.

Here’s a quick summary of some of the changes and additions that have been made. We can never fit everything in these updates, so please check out the Subnautica
