Holly the Orca

Two months ago, Subnautica went on sale on Steam. A big chunk of the profits from that sale went to Whale & Dolphin Conservation (WDC). The end result? A $100,000 donation towards ocean conservation. Sweet!
WDC were so thrilled, they adopted Holly on our behalf. Holly is a 38 year old, 2.2 ton / 5,000lb Orca. Holly lives off the coast of British Columbia, as part of a pod designated ‘A5’. She has birthed five pups in her pod. You can get a glimpse of Holly and her orca buddies on the Orcalab livestream.
The funds raised through sales of Subnautica will go towards preserving Holly’s habitat, raising awareness about threats to her and her family’s survival, and pushing for the release of captive orcas.
