Update to Repair Missing Terrain Problem

Subnautica

Two weeks ago, the Crash Site update was released.  This update brought Reapers, exploration of the Aurora, radiation suits, and… A horrible bug. For some players, a missing ‘dynamically linked library’ (DLL) file caused all of Subnautica’s sea floor to vanish completely.

That is pretty bad. We rapidly fixed the problem in Subnautica’s experimental branch, but this left players in default branch at risk of experiencing a very empty game. In an attempt to ensure this problem does not affect anyone anymore, we’ve just released a small update to default branch.

This update removes Subnautica’s dependency on the DLL in question. Now, no one should experience this missing terrain issue. If you still experience missing terrain after this update please tell us here in the comments!
