After a rocky landing, Robin Ayou sets out to dig deeper and learn what really happened to her sister Sam while stationed on Planet 4546B. She was prepared to embark on a solitary, investigative journey. She was not prepared to have company. Let alone company she can’t seem to get out of her head...

Employee Profiles

Alterra stationed a handful of scientists on Planet 4546B. While the people themselves are gone, clues of their time here remain. Scanning their nameplates in the bases they were stationed in unlocks vivid art and compelling details about their work.

Environmental Storytelling

Small details make a big difference in this update. All throughout the world, a variety of information is now available. From unlockable encyclopedia entries to detailed first-person interaction. These environmental touches are both visually captivating and deeply informative.

Artifact Pings

The heads up display (HUD) will now indicate Artifacts in the world with the Precursor symbol. All pings can be managed through the PDA.

Known Issue: PDA Unlocks

As new encyclopedia entries are added, PDAs that have been previously picked up may reappear in the world. If it has already been unlocked, even if the PDA is still visible, it cannot be picked up again. We are working on a solution!

Many creatures of the world are getting a makeover. Observe as the Rock Puncher carefully investigates the ocean floor for delicious snacks, and benefit from the trail of resources it leaves in its wake. Become transfixed by the mysterious Lily Paddler as it leaves you in a state of multicolor disarray. Enjoy watching Squidsharks attack bothersome visitors with their lightning burst.

Nothing says “I’m the boss” like a pointless desk ornament. Watch the weighted orbs swing back and forth, back and forth, back and forth...

Aromatherapy Lamp

Surviving alone on a largely uninhabitable planet is stressful. That’s where the cheery Aromatherapy lamp comes in. When overcome with a sense of hopelessness, simply meditate to the soothing scents and sights of aromatherapy bliss.

Stairs

We’ve given the engineers at Alterra a pay raise to encourage them to think outside of the box. Because of our generous employee improvement program, the sum-knowledge of the brightest minds at Alterra have given us something truly remarkable: Stairs.

No coral is left unturned in this latest update. Across the planet, a dizzying array of detail work is now present. The beautiful Deep Lilypads leave one at a loss for words. The Crystal Caves Fissure is brimming with strange, new sights. The Iceberg Zone grows ever more impressive.

Accessibility Improvements

Turn on Object Highlighting, found in the new Accessibility Menu, to emphasize interactable objects in the world.

Gliding around the oceans of Planet 4546B is now an entirely smoother experience. Grass and terrain fading improvements have been added to create a smoother visual experience.
