Unknown Worlds has come a very long way since our Half-Life: Natural Selection mod in 2002. That mod was the spark that generated so many games to follow, including Natural Selection 2, Subnautica, Moonbreaker, and even Zen of Sudoku. And, pun intended, the Spark Engine.

We’re so proud of everything we’ve achieved over those incredible years, but we also felt like it was time for a refresh!

That thought eventually led to the decision to give our logo a new look. One that continues to represent our desire to travel to amazing new worlds, seek out adventure, and discover the unknown.

It has taken a lot of back-and-forth, deliberating, and many, many designs, but we finally found one that felt right to us.

And while we’ll always be fond of the Frontiersman who followed us from our Half-Life modding days and beyond, we’re so excited to share our new logo with you all.

One more thing… 

Our website has also had a little bit of an update. Okay, a big update.

Hopefully, the new website will make it easier than ever to learn more about the studio, find our open positions, discover our other games, as well as keep up-to-date with all our latest news and announcements.

Whenever you joined us on our journey, we’re so glad to have you with us. Here’s to many more years to come, creating games that you love!
