Update 12 Apr 2017: An update has been released that resolves the issue. Update 06 Apr 2017: We have identified the issue and worked out how to resolve it. An update is being prepared for release. Update 30 Mar 2017: We've released a technical update to assist us in resolving this error. We haven't solved it yet but we will, and will release an update fixing it as soon as possible.

Original post 28 Feb 2017: Hi everyone! Playing Subnautica on Xbox One? Experienced problems saving and loading the game? We're very sorry this is happening, and we want you to know that we're working on fixing the problem right now. Once we have identified the cause, and repaired the relevant code, we will release an update on Xbox One. We can't give an estimated time for the release, but this is absolutely our top priority and we will update as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this kind of bug is part of the 'Preview Program' experience: The game is not finished, and while we endeavour to make these development versions reliable, some times they are going to blow up. That doesn't make the problem acceptable. Looking to the future: rock-solid, reliable saving and loading is crucial and non-negotiable.
