Update 20 Oct 2017: The Save/Load issue mentioned below has been fixed

The Cuddlefish Update is life on Steam. We’ve made solid progress on preparing it for Xbox One. We don’t know exactly when it will be released. The ‘build’ (a version of the game) is, we think, ready to go. Over the coming week it will go through testing by both ourselves and Microsoft.

If those tested pass, we will release Cuddlefish on Xbox ASAP. We cannot give an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), as any ETA we give will inevitably be wrong, and we don’t want to cause disappointment by missing an arbitrary date. The best we can say is, we …

Good news, Xbox One divers! We have just released an update that solves the save and load issue that has been plaguing saved games on Xbox One. If you have experienced an error message saying “Save data loading failed”, then this update is the one you have been waiting for.

If you have been unable to load a saved game on Xbox One, this update should allow you to load that game. Our testing suggests that the bug did not cause loss of underlying saved game data.

Good news! The Infected Update has been released on Xbox One. We were able to follow the Steam release much more rapidly this time. We won’t always be able to do that, but we will try to keep it up!

With regards to performance and save/load issues: The Infected Update is not a silver bullet that brings great FPS and reliable save/load.
