Suggest ideas for Main Page organization here.

I'll throw in some heading ideas as a starter:

  • Game/Teams and equipment
  • Maps and Mapping
  • Versions and update information
  • Guides and Strategy
  • Community/Wiki Policy

I don't know if this is possible, but once we get the policy guidelines up, it would be great to log in newly registered accounts to that page so that they can read it; this would go a long way in preventing problems other wikis have with good intention but bad execution editing.

Also, the main page is the best place for good quick links; it can really make or break the wiki. Styling it up with a table and maybe graphical links, and linking to the most useful hub pages would make the wiki a very powerful resource.

I've tried adding images to pages, but it doesn't seem to work due to image uploading being disabled, and I don't think you can embed an external image. Unless if I'm missing something, I'd recommend turning on image uploading. --Eb 04:01, 1 September 2008 (CDT)
